So this here is the beginnings of my current project. Unfortunately, the one I was working on had a slight… accident.
Basically I thinned the metal too much while working it and I sort of, punctured, the metal to the point that I couldn’t fix it without looking really bad.
So now I get to start over. Yay!
However, this presents an opportunity for me to show how I make these. For the most part at least.
So according to a friend, I don’t know how to twitter post. My reply to this is of course, duh. So I asked him what I needed to change, and he said to…
"Be as descriptive as possible without describing too much…"
Finished Luna for the new project and still no pictures. For shame…
And now I have a bird noise… thingies.
Not really sure what I’m going to be putting up on there. But most likely it’ll just be random things that come to mind when I least expect them to.
Assuming of course I’m near my computer for this. Or my phone.
Now if I could just find the charging cable for my camera so that I can put up a picture of my next project.
Is what I am. And not only because of this…
But because of this as well…
Not really sure how to react. But if I am sure of one thing, it is that I want to make more, so back to work for me! XD
I already have my next project ready to begin, and I’d say this is really good motivation to begin. Let’s see if I can finish it in record time!
So as I found out recently, a friend of mine will be going to Bronycon and offered to try and get some things signed. Of course, being the rabid fan that I am, I jumped on the opportunity right away.
However, there is a twist!
I have asked him to gift the piece I made, Celestia’s Reign, to Nicole Oliver.
Now, originally, that piece was to be sold. But oddly enough, I often found myself not wanting to sell it. I got an offer, and I declined it. Then I put it up for sale on my Etsy store, and then took it off.
Indecisiveness annoys me to no end, especially if its my own. But, I suppose it has its purpose, because eventually, I came to a realization.
I liked it, and I felt that I could do something better with it than sell it.
And as such, I decided I wanted to give it away.
So, I guess I should explain my reasoning process for this conclusion. Albeit, it will be rather lengthy.
To start off, for those who don’t know, in my humble opinion, Celestia is best princess. She is portrayed as a capable leader, a very caring mentor, and above all, say what you will, a loving sister to Luna. And I can relate, because I have a brother, and sometimes, the best thing to do, is not the easiest.
So, all hail the Solar Empire! Or, as a friend of mine has said before, “All hail sun butt!”
Ahem… sorry. I’m getting off track here. Actually… wait, I’m not sure what track I’m supposed to be on. The joke kind of threw my thoughts out the window.
Jokes aside, that was the reason for which I made the piece in the first place as my first major project. And I have to admit, it was fun to do even if it took like 2-3 months to do it. I have no reserves about doing it again.
Another point, is that Nicole Oliver does a tremendous job at voicing Celestia, to the point that I feel she really brings her character to life. She does her justice, and allows the writers of the show to have a voice that just makes her character work.
I mean, can you imagine if Celestia sounded like Jerry Lewis? Don’t think anypony would take her seriously as a ruler if that were the case.
Although it would be entertaining now that I think of it. Seriously, try reading “My most faithful student” in his voice, and tell me you don’t get a smile or a chuckle from it. Somepony should make a video about that.
But again, I’m getting off topic. Where was I? Oh, right.
Beyond her talent as a voice actress, I guess the second biggest reason would be that she has been really accepting of this little odd and joyful group of fans that I am happy to count myself as a part of. I remember the first time her and the other voice actors partook in a Brony panel. On the stream, they looked shocked and in disbelief of what was going on. But yet, they gave us a chance. And honestly, I think her and the other voice actors could have easily made or broken this fandom if they had never given us that chance in the first place.
They allowed us to show what we could do. And even though there have been some hiccups along the way, almost 3 years later, here we are.
So for that, I have decided that must say, thank you, in what little small way I can.

Now I just hope it makes it in one piece and airport security doesn’t confiscate it or something XD
More piece to come!
I have been trying to figure out what my next project could be and, although I’ve been wanting to do something with Discord in it. I can’t help but want to make this my next project…
This, however, might be too big of a bite for me to take. I assume I need to ask for permission. Actually, I would rather ask for permission before I tackle it.
I really like his work. Check it out if you get a chance.
One of the first things I made when I began to mix this hobby with the fandom. I like to think I’ve improved a bit. What do you think?
So some different pictures that weren’t taken with my cellphone. I think it turned out pretty good and although it took longer than I thought it would, I think it was still worth it.
Also, that coin I included for size reference is a nickle. I didn’t have a quarter available.
And, almost forgot. This image is from the first episode of season one of My Little Pony - Friendship is Magic which is owned by Hasbro. Its about 2 or 3 minutes into the episode.
